Aerospace Engineering & Technologies (E&T) China Team, as part of Honeywell Technology Solutions China - an integrated R&D center of Honeywell in China, is a multi-disciplinary team with over 15 years of contributions to Honeywell’s business development in the aerospace industry in China. As one of the largest aerospace R&D engineering team in China, Honeywell Aerospace China Engineering team has around 300 scientists and engineers working in various global Center of Excellences on Avionics and Mechanical products and on aircraft programs by almost all airframes including COMAC, AVIC, Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Embraer, Gulfstream etc. The team is committed to create the best and new-to-the-world offerings in and out of the aerospace industry. With the dynamic and engaged team, the engineers are working on projects dealing with state-of-the-art Aerospace technologies and developing by fulfilling demanding and challenging duties in a learning-intensive environment.

This position will be in Shanghai, China. This is the role in Electronic Test, Platform and SGN (Sensing, Guidance, Navigation) team.

Responsibility:

End item test (EIT) software development for avionic products (ACE - Actuator Control Equipment, FCM – Flight Control Module, CNS – communication Navigation Surveillance module, INS – Inertial Navigation System and other navigation related products).
Work on-site to support EIT solution integration and delivery
Simulation test solution’s software development for autopilot vehicles.
Work with team on SGN related products’ GNSS processing, Multi-Sensors fusion solution, calibration, compensation engineering test software development with Gyro, Accelerometer, Magnetometer, GNSS, Wheel Odometry, etc. for autopilot application in both Aerospace and adjacent industries (Robotaxi, Surveying, Agriculture, Auto Guidance vehicle, Marine)
Travel and work on-site in other country to involve in global programs.

Primary Qualifications: Bachelor’ degree in Computer Engineering, electronic Engineering, Automatic Control Engineering, , Aerospace Engineering or equivalent. Good at test software development on C, C++, CVI/Labwindows, Labview.
Experienced in python, Matlab, Linux environment.
Electrical and Electronics knowledge (Analog & Digital, ability to read & understand schematics, wire lists).
At least 5 years working experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills both in Mandarin and English
Must be able to work with international team and can take oversea short-term on-site work. Additional Qualifications: Aviation product design or testing experience is highly preferred
Software knowledge on embedded product development is preferred.
Experienced in communication protocols (ARINC429, CAN, RS232 and RS485), Analog I/O, Discrete I/O and power solution, etc.
Experience programming and testing high reliability, safety critical, and fault tolerant systems
Hardware knowledge on Industry PC, PXI and LXI equipment is preferred.
Good customer interface skills with the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical personnel is preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills Additional Information
