  • Main Job Purpose:
  • The Brand lead in Sanofi CHC is responsible for the brand health and performance, overall business completion of the brand in charge in the local market.
  • Lead in designing and translating Brand Strategy into a National Brand Building Plan which provides brand value drivers and brand and customer priorities, rooted in local insight and to create concrete Brand Marketing Plan to ensure flawless deployment of brand communication and activation in the market.
  • Specializing in upstream or downstream is assigned by line manager and SANOFI CHC leadership team.
  • Key accountabilities:
  • STRATEGIC PLANNING:
  • Be capable to independently lead in preparation flowed by execution of brand marketing plans (design activities, execute, evaluate & put corrective actions if needed) with Sanofi CHC way
  • Be capable to independently responsible/lead cross brand projects, brand activations with equity building by guarantee delivery
  • Be capable to independently lead the innovation development and execution in the market
  • OPERATIONAL PLANNING:
  • Be capable to independently lead preparation and submits Activity Plans on brand level. Makes sure that all activities are aligned with JTBD, key market drivers are utilized, key channels are covered, golden customer tailors are developed, and activities assure target realization.
  • Be capable to independently responsible for on-going market understanding at consumer and shopper level (brand measures, competition monitoring, media, and consumer/shopper behaviors);
  • Be capable to independently Owns and drives preparation and execution of full package to consumer/shopper for national promotions, launches, relaunches, activations.
  • More Key tasks in various perspectives:
  • Be capable to independently Lead and contributes to Business Team work: owns & leads respective projects, puts forwards issues, shares updates with the team, gives feedback to others in the meetings; provides inputs to others.
  • Be capable to independently Responsible for shares development | uses it as a reference for activity plan preparation.
  • Be capable to independently Respective business and budget owner (responsibility to keep proper balance of total budget ATL, BTL); A&P & off budget management.
  • Be capable to independently lead portfolio management (listings, delistings, in-outs, promo SKUs)
  • Be capable to independently Leads new product development projects/New Product Developments, Leading or participating a cross-functional project team)
  • Be capable to independently Lead Brand Communication/Activation 360 degree (down to customer level as per Plan). Keeps consistency of brand communication across all communication channels and consumer and shopper touch points.
  • Be capable to independently Lead and provides for S&OP input for Business Team results (according to the S&OP procedure); responsible for forecast accuracy on specific brand level (included in KPIs).
  • RESOUCE MANAGEMENT & TEAM DEVELOPMENT
  • Responsible for A&P budget to drive sales growth (both top line and bottom line), and share growth.
  • Has capability to improve efficiency in resource mapping, allocation, and E2E operational excellence.
  • Capabilities in business understanding and drive mitigation, business risk & opportunity management, resource re-allocation to deliver target.
  • Has a team as direct reports to coach and develop if applicable
  • Other tasks assigned by line manager and SANOFI CHC leadership team
  • Other requirements in marketing and brand management are assessed by SANOFI CHC job skill set ladder.
  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree above
  • 5-7 years classic brand management experience
  • Business management and brand development experience
  • Manage stakeholders in multi-functional teams.
  • Strong analysis skills and data driven and project management skill
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good command of English and Chinese.
