Job description

The Operation Officer （Policy Operation） is responsible for assisting with the effective management of policy operations. Act as a key role to monitor policy data processing and insurance business core system iterations. Perform monthly commission reconciliation with cooperative insurance companies.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

• This role will be mainly tasked to carry out monthly insurance commission reconciliation following department business procedures. Ensure that the policy operations adhere to the agreement with cooperative insurance companies.

• This role will monitor the business core system of insurance business. Identify potential operational risk and escalate in a timely manner.

• This role will engage with 1st Line business teams, 2nd line of defense at the direction of the team leader.

• This role will support Team leaders to monitor the iterations of business core system and investigate business scenarios of cooperative insurance companies to enhance the adaptability of the core system.

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is required;

• 1+ years’ experience on insurance policy operations, preferable with insurance broker, fund sales or related financial service industry;

• Experience in Policy Operations is preferred and Group Insurance experience is preferred;

• Working knowledge of various applications including MS Word and Excel;

• Ability to effectively organize work schedules and manage multiple tasks by utilizing time management skills;

• Attention to detail combined with strong delivery focus and ability to meet work goals with quality results.

• Ability to work as an effective team member within the departments and company as a whole;

• Ability to be flexible and willing to change along with changes in corporate and department objectives in addition to recommending changes to assist in meeting these objectives;

• Ability to learn quickly, transfers knowledge appropriately, understand and interpret numeric data
