Seagates Product Performance Engineering organization for HDD (Hard Disk Drive) performance, yield monitoring and analysis.
About the role - you will: Engineer in big data analytics development.- To perform research work to develop, automate and improve big data analysis capability for Hard Disc Drive (HDD) manufacturing
- Early detection for Incoming/Assembly issues
- Outgoing quality prediction to reduce DPPM / Excursions
- TO incorporate innovative algorithms on auto-Search (for effective CTQs) and auto-RCA (Root Cause Analysis) to improve data analysis effectiveness & efficiency
- To work closely with IT-FIS team to deploy the new designs / Analytics into the factory IT system for real-time production.
- A Bachelor/Master graduate in Mathematics, Statistics or Big Data Analytics discipline
- Fast learner, independent and able to work in a cross functional team
- Possess good knowledge & experience on big data & machine-learning statistics / algorithms
- A team player with good communication skills (English, Mandarin)
- R, Python, JMP/SAS, SQL programming on statistics/algorithms
- Microsoft office
