Primary Responsibilities:
This position is to work as an Associate Researcher of the Applied Chemistry Team in China Water Technology
Center (CWTC) of Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS). Position duties include proactively
collaborating with cross-functional teams on chemical product development/optimization and technical supports
through NPI/NTI (New Product Introduction/New Technology Introduction) programs, technical RTS (Readiness
To Serve), DMP (Direct Material Productivity) projects, product supports, etc.
  • Execute technical projects above (industrial water treatment related) through close collaborations with
Product Management, Technology, Product Application, etc.
  • Validate and optimize chemical solutions for industrial applications (water treatment).
  • Collaborate for technical ideation, brainstorming, trouble shooting, etc.
  • Support lab operations such as equipment maintenance, chemical management, etc.
  • Comply with all EHS and Ethics policies, practices and procedures.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or Master (2+ years’ experience preferred) in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical
Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related.
  • Experience on industrial water treatment, chemical product development/application or organic
characterization/analysis will be preferred.
  • Good passion for technical exploration, embracing changes and challenges as opportunities.
  • Good communication skills to work effectively through cross-function collaborations.
  • Strong environmental, health and safety ethics.
  • Fluent oral and written communication in English.
