AMD together we advance_ Responsibilities: THE ROLE: AMD is looking for a specialized software engineer who is passionate about improving the performance of key applications and benchmarks. You will be a member of a core team of incredibly talented industry specialists and will work with the very latest hardware and software technology. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate should be passionate about software engineering and possess leadership skills to drive sophisticated issues to resolution. Able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMD. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Research the latest advancements and technologies in LLM or Generative AI, designing and developing innovative applications aligned with company needs.
  • Research the SOTA algorithms of LLM or Generative AI, to enhance the accuracy and performance of existing models.
  • Design and implement efficient algorithms to optimize models, ensuring their efficient deployment in production environments.
  • Keep abreast of and evaluate cutting-edge model optimization algorithms and technologies, applying them to company projects to maintain a leading technological edge.
  • Collaborate with teams, share best practices, and provide guidance and support on LLM or Generative AI technology.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Above 3 years of practical experience in deep learning, natural language processing, machine learning, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in at least one deep learning framework (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) to design, implement, and optimize complex models.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of working effectively and delivering results under high pressure.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
